Top 10: Pregnancy Favorites

My daughter is truly the greatest gift from God, and the best thing that has ever happened to me. But all great things don’t come easy right? Contrary to what most women say about pregnancy, it was NOT easy on me. I suffered from pretty severe morning (aka all day) sickness, bad heart burn, back & lower ligament pain, and trouble sleeping. As a first time mom, it took me a while to get the hang of things and determine what worked best for me, and made my pregnancy a little bit easier!

1. Maeband

First and foremost, I recommend investing in at least one good pair of maternity jeans, but if that’s not in the budget, or you just really want to wear your pre-pregnancy jeans, this band is a total game changer! I was able to wear my pre-pregnancy pants/jeans all the way up until I delivered because of this hack! Check out my viral tutorial here!

2. Pregnancy Pillow

In the second and third trimesters, this pillow made a world of difference in sleeping comfortably on my side! I wish I would have purchased sooner!

3. Bump butter

I used this butter day and night starting in my second trimester for preventing stretch marks! It worked WONDERS for me!

4. Ice Roller

Ice rolling is one of my favorite things to do in the mornings to de-puff. It also helped a ton with those darn hot flashes, especially when being most pregnant in the summer months.

5. Prenatal Vitamin

I tried a handful of prenatal vitamins, and these were the only ones that my stomach could handle.

6. Support Band

I used this frequently in the 3rd trimester to help relieve back and lower ligament pain!

7. Leggings

When I tell you I LIVED in these leggings….

8. Bike shorts

If you’re most pregnant in the warmer months (like I was), high quality and stretchy bike shorts were a must. I loved these!

9. Maternity Jeans

As I mentioned earlier, I recommend investing in at least 1 good pair of maternity jeans. These were the only pair I purchased and I absolutely loved them!

10. Bump Friendly Outfits

I have a collection of my most worn and favorite bump friendly outfits linked here!
